International Hospitality Legal Consultant & Mediator with a cross‑border mindset
Melanie Blanco is a seasoned legal advisor and mediator with more than 17 years’ experience helping hospitality groups navigate deals and disputes across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. She began her career litigating civil and commercial cases at one of Spain’s largest law firms, then joined the executive ranks of leading international hotel groups working based in Europe and China. Today she blends that civil‑law foundation with business acumen to advise clients on cross‑border compliance, contract negotiation and dispute management for hospitality and real‑estate projects. She is triple‑accredited as a civil and commercial mediator and serves as a member of the Tourism & Hotels Working Group of the Madrid International Arbitration Center – Ibero‑American Arbitration Center (CIAM‑CIAR). Melanie holds a Global Executive MBA from CEIBS, and an LL.M. in Business Law.
